After five years of development in a small team, the original project planning tool has evolved into an indispensable pillar of our agency. The Central Brain is a web application that brings together company processes, data, and finances in one place. At the same time, it automates routine tasks, boosting the efficiency of every team member.
How did it all begin?
At the very start, there was a clear goal: to simplify and unify the way client orders were created. We wanted to have full control over media campaigns, KPIs, and invoicing — from account planning down to detailed breakdowns by tactics and time periods. A small team of developers and planners launched the first version, setting in motion a unique journey towards an internal ecosystem.
The heart of Business Intelligence.
Over the years, we unified our data architecture and enriched revenue overviews with team workload and cash flow insights. Today, data from the Central Brain powers our BI dashboards. Whether we’re planning the next quarter, reviewing budgets, or fine-tuning our long-term business strategy, everything draws from a single database.
A daily companion for every role.
When we added time tracking and capacity management, the Central Brain became an everyday tool for specialists, account managers, and executives alike. Project hours, reports, contracts, or the internal wiki are now available in just a few clicks — no more switching between dozens of different systems.
Smart features that save time.
Slack notifications, automatic budget checks, invoicing management, internal wiki, attendance tracking, or vacation planning — these are just some of the functions that eliminate piles of routine work. And since we’re data-driven, we regularly measure pNPS (user satisfaction with the product), collect feedback, and adjust development priorities accordingly in the roadmap.
What’s next?
Although the Central Brain currently serves as an internal tool, we are working intensively on launching a client-friendly interface. This will give our clients one place to view all orders, sign documents electronically, and instantly access invoices as well as campaign performance reports. Our five-year expertise in agile development, modular architecture, and an API-first approach ensures that the tool not only saves time and keeps data perfectly organized, but is also fully scalable for the agency’s future growth.
