Media Planning on a Budget: How We Streamlined Digital Marketing for Amber Plasma

When we took over Amber Plasma’s digital marketing in March 2025, the goal was clear: maximize budget efficiency through continuous optimization, testing, and exploring new opportunities. Amber Plasma was already successfully generating leads, so our job wasn’t to reinvent the wheel—it was to get the maximum value out of every crown spent while boosting overall campaign performance. To achieve this, we took a three-pronged approach: optimizing existing activities, streamlining messaging, and identifying new, higher-performing channels.
Optimizing Performance Campaigns and Smart Reallocation
In March, we began meticulously optimizing performance campaigns. One of our first steps was testing manual CPC (Cost Per Click) bidding—an approach that allowed us to significantly reduce both the cost per click and the cost per conversion, boosting the efficiency of the entire budget. Simultaneously, we systematically eliminated underperforming campaigns. The saved budget was reallocated to more effective channels, primarily Performance Max. This enabled us to better target new donors, a move that proved exceptionally effective.
Meta Social Campaigns: Testing New Creative Formats
In July 2025, we actively started testing Meta campaigns with a strong focus on budget efficiency. We rolled out new formats—performance videos and interactive polls—which delivered excellent results across Facebook and Instagram. Interestingly, static carousel ads performed the best, reinforcing just how crucial ad creatives and continuous testing are to success.
Community Management & Positive Reviews: Building Trust
Strengthening trust in the Amber Plasma brand was another core pillar of our strategy. We took a systematic approach to community management, actively encouraging donors to share their positive experiences. As a result, donors naturally began leaving more reviews and engaging on social media. This organic advocacy not only motivated the existing community but also attracted new donors.
Improving SEO and UX: Driving Long-Term Growth
The final piece of the puzzle was SEO and UX optimization. We conducted thorough keyword research and a content gap analysis, uncovering new opportunities to boost Amber Plasma’s search engine visibility. On the UX front, we restructured the website, streamlined the registration process, and tweaked the design to create a smoother, more user-friendly experience.
Conclusion: One budget, 12 branches, and clear results
Managing digital marketing across an entire network of donor centers requires a finely tuned strategy. The Amber Plasma case demonstrates that the key to success lies in the smart allocation of budget across the whole branch network. Combining rigorous performance optimization, testing new creative formats, community building, and long-term SEO and UX efforts allowed us to strike the ideal balance between local reach and overall efficiency—delivering outstanding results across all 12 centers in line with the target KPIs.
